From 4 to 5pm inside the shop on WBD a speech and drama teacher will be reading and acting out stories to a children's audience. At 7pm also on WBD a book launch in the shop of 'The Clare Young Environmentalists' by Hugh Weir, will be hosted by Síle De Valera [minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands].

On 22nd April Eason are holding a WBD event for primary schools in Cork. Four children's authors will talk about their work in an entertaining and fun way. Authors: Bill Wall, Bernadette Lynch, Martina Murphy, Stephanie Dagg, Cora Harrison. Event will be held in the morning from 10.30 to 1.00. An Eason's bookshop will be open at the venue.
