Clone House Enniscorthy, County Wexford This attractive, creeper-covered, 300-year-old farm house is in a quiet location on nearly 120 hectares of mixed farmland. Guests can fish on the Bann River, which runs through the property, feed the lambs, see calves born or just go for wonderful walks. The Breens bought the property about 40 years ago, and gradually did it up. Betty is particularly gifted at landscaping and has created a lovely garden. Guests are treated as friends and enjoy such luxuries as breakfast in bed, served at any time, and delicious home-cooked food, using home-grown or reared produce. The house is very comfortable and has been attractively furnished. One of the ground floor rooms is suitable for the disabled, and another has a private balcony. There is a comfortable sitting room and dining room. There is a pony for children to ride, and baby-sitting is available. Many guests come to buy horses, others to visit a local herbalist, others to hunt and others just to relax. Pets outside only. One bedroom is for smokers, as well as the living room. Clone House is 3 km off the N11 at Ferns. OWNER Betty Breen ROOMS 1 twin, 3 family, 1 triple; all en suite
