Roma Gibbons is a delightful, kindly lady who extends a warm welcome to her immaculate red brick Victorian house, situated opposite St Alphonsus Convent and Church 2 km from the city centre. There is a good local bus service; guests would be well advised to take local transport to avoid the parking and traffic problems. The bedrooms are average in size with orthopaedic beds.

There are no en suite rooms, but there are two shower rooms and two WCs exclusively for guests' use. The family lounge has a marble fireplace, which guests are welcome to share. Roma Gibbons enjoys meeting people and would be happy to recommend pubs and restaurants for evening meals.

Joyville is a good value accommodation and is a popular B&B. Visitors to Dublin should reserve in advance.
