Raglan LodgeDublinIn a quiet residential road within walking distance of the centre, Raglan Lodge is a welcoming, peaceful place, with a friendly, charming owner. Dating from 1861 it is an impressive Victorian house, which, in its more recent past was turned into flats and allowed to deteriorate. It has now been restored back to its original character of well proportioned rooms and high ceilings. The bedrooms all have a TV and telephone. The poet, Patrick Kavanagh, lived on Raglan Road in the 1940s,and one of his poems is entitled 'On Raglan Road'. There is off street parking on the premises, and major credit cards are accepted.
