Shanveen House

Donegal town

Shanveen House is an attractive house in an elevated position, overlooking the Blue Stack Mountains. Three minutes' walk from town, it stands opposite the eighteenth-century Presbyterian church. The bedrooms are spotlessly clean, and all have chairs and individual wardrobes. Although there are only two en-suite bedrooms, another does have its own shower. There is a comfortable lounge with Victorian furnishings and a piano, which guests are welcome to play. A lovely grandfather clock stands in the hallway and there is an interesting doll collection displayed in a cabinet on the landing. There is a pleasant, homely atmosphere, and Mrs McGarrigle does everything possible to ensure here guests feel welcome and comfortable. No pets.

Open: Easter-October. Rooms: 2 double, 1 twin, 1 family (2 en-suite).
