St Anne's Clonakilty, Bandon, County Cork This attractive Georgian house was in pretty bad shape when Anne Buckley bought it. She has done a great job renovating the house, which now offers bright and attractively furnished bedrooms. Both the dining room, where breakfast only is served, and the sitting room have their original fireplaces. Anne, who is an ex-school teacher, is very charming and attentive to the needs of her guests. Smoking is only permitted in the lounge, and pets should be kept in the car. St Anne's is 1 km from Bandon on the N71 to Clonakilty. Visa, Mastercard, Access accepted.
