Burren Display Centre, County ClareA fine introduction to the flora and fauna of the Burren, this centre has displays showing the archaeology, history, local treasures and unique flowers of the district, together with a large-scale model of the Burren landscape. Next to the centre are the substantial ruins of a 12th-century cathedral. Also in County Clare, the Corofin Heritage Centre, in a converted church, has a small but comprehensive museum on life in 19th-century Clare. The nearby Dysert O'Dea castle has an archaeology centre, with local museum and audio visual presentation. The Burren is now a national park.
