Guinness Visitor Centre / Guinness Storehouse, DublinGuinness and Dublin are synonymous; the dark brew has been produced on this site since 1759. The Hop Store is an ingeniously converted warehouse that contains an impressive multimedia presentation on the history of Guinness, which highlights its contribution to Irish social and literary life. This presentation is complemented by the brewing gallery that depicts the traditional and contemporary methods of making Guinness. Although there's a lot of old equipment and a fair amount of technical information, it all slips down as easily as the familiar pint. On the ground floor, visitors can enjoy a free sample. The building is also used for visiting exhibitions.
