Paddy's Pub

Co. Tipperary

If you love to fish or just take a leisurely ride on a lake cruiser, stop off at this pub on the shores of Lough Derg. It was recommended by writer and wit Hugh Leonard, who says:

"You can spot Paddy's Pub in Terryglass from the bridge of your cruiser as you approach the tiny harbour in the northeast corner of Lough Derg; it is a short walk up a winding lande, and you are no sooner in this tiny hamlet than you are out of it. But the pub is small, dark and a jewel of its kind."
