Mistle Thrush
Turdus viscivorus
Liatráisc

The Mistle Thrush, so named for its liking of mistletoe berries, is larger than the Song Thrush and generally greyer and paler. It is spotted with black on the underparts, the spots being more distinct and less suffused. The tail is also longer and has pale tips to the outer feathers, noticeable in flight, as are the shining white underwings. The call is a harsh rattling but the song is melodious and fluty.
