What has happened

Introduction

The Ghostwatch has been the most popular feature published on Ireland's Eye, attracting media coverage in Ireland, America, Australia and France. Visitors have joined the Ghostwatch by day and by night and sent reports which have been intriguing and sometimes unsettling. Many visitors have reported accounts which defy rational explanation. Originally intended as a week-long watch for the ghost of a young linen worker, the web cam is still switched on 24 hours a day. Visitors are still reporting sightings of unusual activity. Of course many visitors have not witnessed anything unusual and these reports are also appreciated. We would prefer to discover that the linen mill is not haunted but the amount of reported sightings prevents us reaching that conclusion.

This week we bring you up to date with the Ghostwatch by describing recent encounters experienced by staff who work in the building. We have also compiled reports from visitors who have participated on the Ghostwatch. We hope to settle questions about the Ghostwatch which have been asked by several visitors.
